The past few years have felt like standing between two tides.

My generation on one shore, the new generation on another, both shaped by time, both carried by change.

And while the waves sometimes crash as if generations are in a quiet battle, I choose not to stand in that storm.

Instead, I choose to follow the current that pulls me toward something brighter.

For as long as I can remember, a dream has been whispering to me: create a place for art.

Not a sign of slowing down, not an ending, but a beginning.

A place where passion is allowed to breathe, and creativity can lift its head like a flower reaching for the sun.


And so Studio 499 is born.

At first, an online and non-profit sanctuary, a seed in the soil, but with room to grow into something extraordinary.

A place filled with stories painted in colour.

A place where new artists step into the light and discover the power of their own voice.

A place where workshops will spark curiosity, guiding hands and hearts to explore, learn, and create.

This is the start of a dream finally taking shape.

And I can’t wait to watch it bloom.

Actually this more than a biography, I would say it's a kind of short memoir of my Life.  Born in Eastern Europe during the communist era, I grew up in a time that shaped resilience, adaptability, and perspective. They were strange years — full of ideals on the surface, yet deeply restrictive and quietly dictatorial. Because of that, I don’t blame anyone for the wrong decisions.
